Manhattan Good Neighbors
About Manhattan Good Neighbors
The Manhattan Good Neighbors (MGN) specifically focuses on neighborhoods around the K-State campus. The MGN provides opportunities for students and permanent residents to build and maintain positive relationships. Opportunities range from neighborhood clean-ups, community service projects to social activities. Neighborhood students and community members are encouraged to participate in these events, but anyone is welcome. As the program grows, the number of neighborhoods will be expanded and we encourage others to help plan and lead in their neighborhoods with these "neighboring" activities.
About Manhattan Good Neighbors Task Force
Manhattan is a great place to live, work, and play. Opportunity accompanies the growth our community is currently enjoying-and a few challenges. The Manhattan Good Neighbor Task Force has formed to address many of these challenges like ensuring our neighborhoods are clean, safe, and welcoming to all.
Manhattan Good Neighbor partners include the City of Manhattan, Kansas State University, Manhattan Landlords, Riley County Police Department, Coalition of Neighborhood Associations, USD 383, Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce, Manhattan Housing Authority and others in the community.
